There are a few exclusive services we offer included with your Dinerware® system, thanks to the use of current technology.

To provide these services, we require broadband internet access, but the cost associated with DSL or Cable Modem are easily recouped in the level of service we are able to provide. We will help you get a broadband account installed if you do not already have one.

First, we are able to run daily, off-site backups over your broadband internet connection. Once you become a revolutionPOS customer, we will set aside hard drive space on our secure server to receive your daily backups. This is great for a few reasons. The first is…you won’t have any annoying tape to lose or forget to take home with you. Secondly, you will never have to worry about backing up data...you always have an up-to-date copy if you should need to restore for any reason. Finally, you never have to remember to change a tape every day; another way Dinerware® helps you free up time to run your Restaurant rather than babysit your system.

Another reason for high-speed internet access is for troubleshooting. When receiving a call, we can connect to your system within seconds via high-speed internet connecion, rather than having to rely on a slow, outdated modem. Our technicians can walk you through a procedure or help with a menu issue immediately, rather than having to wait for someone to be available to come on-site. Oh, and remember, with Dinerware®, that menu issue that we assist you with remotely…it’ll be available on all terminals immediately with no rebooting.

The final reason for a broadband internet connection is that your credit card authorizations can be instant, rather than waiting for a modem to dial or using an external credit card processing terminal.
